My mom ordered a whole roasted pig for a special occasion and it cost $398. We told them pick up time was at 10:00 am. And the roasted pig was ready by that time. The whole roasted pig was delicious and crispy. I've been to this place for years and it was never disappointed. Excellence customer service!

Finally got to try out this chang fun / rice noodle roll place in Portola! I stopped by Sunday evening around 6 pm to grab some chang fun to go. I called while I was on the way and my order was ready when I arrived. I got the fish chang fun with egg added for a little over $6. Such good value! By the time I got home, it had already cooled down, but it was still good. I did think the rice noodle layer was a bit on the thick side, so I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5. I need to come back again and eat it fresh out of the kitchen! Usually parking is hard to find in this area, but I was lucky and snagged a metered spot right in front of the restaurant. Maybe it's not that busy Sunday evening.

Food: Great Portion. Barbecue pork, roast pork, and duck are very tasty. The best is their roast pork. Service: Very nice and friendly people. Ambiance: Very clean place

My friend and I arrived here at 3PM and were seated immediately. Most locals buy the bbq or meats at the counter and take it to go, but you can ask to be seated. Most workers here are most comfortable speaking Cantonese, so having a Cantonese speaker at this restaurant helps but definitely not mandatory! Roast Duck Over Rice ($11) - 4/5 The roast duck itself was fatty and flavorful, and this place hits the name on of keeping the skin crispy, while still making sure the duck itself is flavorful and moist. This is also served with a very generous bed of rice and some cabbage under the duck. Some of the duck pieces given did not have as much meat on them, but overall great value. Char Siu Rice Noodle Roll ($4.99) and Shrimp and Egg Rice Noodle Roll ($5.99) - 4/5 This place is known for their rice noodle rolls, and they make them fresh to order. The rice noodle rolls were silky smooth, and a bottle of sweet soy sauce was given to dip to your liking. I thought the egg gave the noodle rolls a new texture and a bit of flavor, but personally not worth an extra dollar. The shrimp was also not very generous and were on top of the rice noodle rolls instead of within the folds. Overall, a great local joint with great flavor and value! This place has a minimum of $30 for credit card charge and both of these dishes and 2 cups of soy milk was just shy of $30. Would come back again for their bbq meats and rice noodle rolls :)

Ming Hing has become my new go to spot when I'm craving for comfort Chinese breakfast. The cherng fun (rice rolls) have such a silky texture. Not too thick or doughy like some others I've had. We decided to try their combo version which also has tasty roasted duck on top. I love ordering their fried donut sticks and dipping them in porridge or their homemade soy milk. The only downside is that parking can be difficult as it's mostly metered street parking.

Their roasted pork belly is a must! It's nice and crispy! With every piece being good. There are no questionable pieces like when you order regular roasted pork. The rice rolls are good. For the shrimp, I do wish the shrimps were bigger, but it's still good. My fav rice roll is the bbq roasted pork (forgot to take a pic). Their porridge is also good! It's a big portion so ok to save if you can't finish. Service is slow so be patient

Popping back for some rice noodles and roasted meat over rice. Never disappoint with their roasted pork and roasted duck over rice plate. They also have a great selection of chow fun and noodles. The service was ok, the interior is more takeout oriented but acceptable for a quick bite.
